Touch and F9 are officially old, but will perhaps make every exotic restaurant list for a long time. There are, however, a lot of contenders in a city open to, nay, eager for, new tastes.

The Square has all the understated elegance that you'd expect from a blue-blooded coffee shop. But if address doesn't completely overshadow palate for you, remember to ask for the salt and pepper shakers.

Deli 9 perhaps started out at Begumpet thinking it'll plug a vacant market segment higher up on the matrix - the prices are thrice as high. Well, it's the same crowd there too.

An exuberant place, with a night-time view of the city that makes you happy to just be up there - far above the dust and grime of the flyovers under construction, and the ire of the daily commuters.

Awana feels, smells and looks like you have wandered into one of the restaurants lining the major shopping districts of Kuala Lumpur. Then, there's the food.

The name says it all - sticks, kebabs, steaks and gyozas stud the menu. And if it's a lounge you are looking for in the middle of the business district, it's Thanksgiving.

Odyssey reeks of personality, and whyever not. It has just the right dollop of the Lower Westside kind of laidbackness and a pinch of the Upper East Side kind of snoot.

There are times when you want to literally eat out, and Al Fresco is amongst the most expensive ways to do it in Hyderabad. And that's almost the raison d'etre.

If you need a reason to step inside the neighboring Noodles Bar or the Copper Chimney, you'll not find it at the Bombay Blue.
