A talk on Personal Finance, for NRIs and expats who want to invest in India, is being organised at Novotel, on 3rd November. The talk will be on from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
The talk is divided into 3 segments, each one including an expert speaker interacting with the audience. The first segment will focus on Personal Finance For Expats/NRIs Wishing To Invest In India, from 10:30am to 11:30am, by Lovaii Navlakhi. He will speak on opportunities present, why you must invest in India, the economy, the financial structure and operations, and the process of investment, and the rules governing it.
After the talk, there will be a Q&A session on bank accounts, planning, insurance, mutual funds and other queries on Indian Finance.
The 2nd topic will be Taxation And Tax Issues for Expats/NRIs Residing/Working In India, from 11:30am to 12:30pm by Rekha N S, B Srinivas and Agarwal & Italia (Chartered Accountants). They will discuss how you can make cross-border taxation work for you, as well as special tax issues when investing in India.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session. The 3rd segment will consist of individual sessions, from 1pm to 2:30pm.
